Csorgókő Waterfall
The Csorgókő Waterfall is located in the Nagykút Stream valley, where the water from seven springs cascades down about 7 meters in two stages. It can be reached via asphalt road, followed by a short walk to the base. In winter, the frozen waterfall creates a spectacular view.
Tartód Castle
Tartód Castle stands on the western edge of the village, at the confluence of the Great Küküllő and Tartód streams, on a steep hill about 848 m high. The ruins were part of the medieval Hungarian border defense system, built in the 11th–12th centuries, offering a great spot for history and panoramic views.
Water mill
The water mill in Küküllőtelep has a history of over 200 years and still operates, preserving the traditional milling and woodworking technologies. The mill is open to visitors and offers demonstrations.
Roman Catholic Church
The Roman Catholic Church, located in the village center, was built between 1902–1904 and serves as the spiritual center of the local Catholic community. In 2023, it was renovated with a new floor, underfloor heating, and new pews to provide a dignified setting for services.
Lookout tower
The wooden lookout tower on the Tălaș ridge offers sweeping views over Vărșag and the surrounding mountain landscape.
Alpine-bob track
The alpine-bob track near Vărșag, roughly 1,500 m long, is great for families and friends.
Ski slope
The ski slope in Vărșag (Székelyvarság) features an 840 m chairlift, an approximate 1 050 m run length and 161 m vertical drop, at altitudes between 970-1 170 m. It is classified as intermediate difficulty (red level). Summer activities are also available.
Mountain Cart
The Mountain Cart in Vărșag is an adrenaline-filled, safe mountain go-kart track, offering fun for families and groups of friends amidst nature. The track is approximately 1 km long with varied turns and slopes, and the carts are equipped with brakes and seat belts for safety. Professional staff assist with usage, and additional programs are available upon request.
